Cleaning Your uKeg

After Each Use

Remove cap and rinse with hot water

Turn off gas
Remove cap and rinse with warm water. (less than 120 degrees F).

Rinse uKeg

Rinse uKeg with warm water.
Repeat 2-3 times until clean.

Install cap and rinse through with water

Install cap.
Use remaining nitro gas to flow water through tap.
Close tap.

Discharge remaining nitro gas

Discharge remaining nitro gas by turning dial and venting.
Remove and recycle gas cartridge.

Allow to dry

Allow to dry by pouring out remaining water.
Store with cap off and tap open in dry place.

For a More Thorough Cleaning

Fill with warm water and cleaning tablet

Fill with warm water under 120 degress F and 1 cleaning tablet.
Cap and shake well.
Baking soda is a suitable substitute.

Install cap and rinse with water

Install cap, charge briefly with left-over nitro gas, flow water through tap and close tap.
Let sit 10 minutes.
Open tap until pressure runs out.

Remove nozzle for cleaning

Remove the nozzle for cleaning and drying.
Rinse (make sure parts inside nozel remain intact).
