Boise, ID for Motorcycle Rally

April 25, 2017
I live in Portland so the trip to Boise isn’t so bad. Overall, the GPS said it should take me around six and a half hours to get there. I didn’t take the fastest way there however. From Portland, I drove to Bend Oregon to pick up a friend. We stayed in Bend for the night, went to 10 Barrel brewery and got my two uKeg’s (from GrowlerWerks) filled with some delicious beers.

14 growlers tested and approved!

January 18, 2017
While Growlerwerks has angered some early Kickstarter supporters by pacing their shipments while continuing to market and sell new units, there’s a valid business reason behind the decision and there’s a reason folks continue to buy these in droves. The temperature performance we noted requires that you keep it on ice or refrigerated to maintain temp if you're going to take it out for longer periods of time, but the built-in CO2 pressurizer and tap are the most stylish we’ve seen.

GrowlerWerks uKeg: The Growler Of Your Dreams

August 23, 2016
If you haven’t noticed from some of the things I write on Paste, I have news for you: I like beer. “Like” is actually not strong enough of a word. I love beer. My studio apartment in San Francisco has a dedicated beer fridge and a kegerator, both of which aren’t big enough for my beer collection, which has actually expanded now to include a bit of closet space. Some women collect shoes, I collect craft beer.

Travel Kegs are Here for Better Beer on the Go

March 23, 2016
Last summer I had the opportunity to bring together some friends, a keg of beer, and a bunch of trail growlers which led to the now classic “Growlerpalooza." The timing was perfect for such an event as a bunch of different insulated growlers had just hit the market, it was summer, and I know a lot of us “Outdoorians” enjoy craft beer.

How This Beer Growler Went From Concept to Market

October 04, 2015

(where else?)—were lovers of craft beer but not of traditional glass growlers, which can let brews go flat, warm and stale, leading to the discarding of limited-edition IPA (the dreaded “drain pour”). The team searched in vain for a pressurized growler that would keep beer fresh and cold.
